Since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and chocolate is the go-to-treat of this very sweet holiday, why not make this week’s chocolate pudding recipe from scratch with heart healthy ingredients… avocado and unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder!

Heart Healthy Chocolate Pudding

Avocado is the perfect natural ingredient to make a thick and creamy treat!

Yield: 6 servings = 1/3 cup per serving

Ingredients:

    • 1 avocado
    • 1 banana
    • 1/3 cup of honey (or agave syrup)
    • 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
    • ¼ cup of peanut butter (substitute with almond butter or any other nut/seed butter)

Directions:

Add all the ingredients into a blender.
